Blessing Of The Crib In Roscrea Well done to all who attended the blessing of the crib as Christmas officially got going in Roscrea earlier this week Coffee Morning There was a big crowd of supporters who arrived to drink coffee, eat freshly-baked scones and to rummage through the items on the Bric a Brac and book stall. A number of children were clearly enjoying themselves with toys and pieces of costume jewellery from boxes on the floor! Christmas cards in support of several development agencies also disappeared like snow off the proverbial ditch.

Our Community Arts Team provides a range of visual arts workshops for children in the area, working mainly with Primary schools. A committee is reviewing our membership structure with a view to broadening its base: Ger has won several national poetry competitions and has been the recipient of a number of bursaries and residencies sponsored by the Arts Council and Mayo County Council.
